Working Student (m/f/d) – Data Scientist / Computer Vision
Your Task
- Support the development and improvement of computer vision and machine learning models
- Implement and maintain Python code following clean coding principles
- Work with image datasets, including preprocessing, augmentation, and validation
- Assist in training, evaluating, and optimizing ML/CV models
- Structure code into reusable modules and contribute to testing and validation
- Use Bitbucket for version control and collaborate on shared codebases
- Support containerization or deployment workflows (e.g., Docker or cloud environments)
- Document experiments, results, and technical decisions clearly and concisely
Your Skills
- Enrolled student in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related technical field
- First hands-on experience with machine learning or computer vision through coursework or projects
- Good practical knowledge of Python and writing clean, maintainable code
- Basic understanding of software development best practices (e.g., Git, modularization, simple testing)
- Initial experience with ML/CV frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or OpenCV
- Experience working with image data (loading, preprocessing, visualization)
- Ability to understand and adapt existing code and models
- Strong ownership mindset, clear communication skills, and willingness to learn independently
